Versus Gamers (versusgamers.com) is a free browser games website run from Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information is handled when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. It is written with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and Canada’s federal privacy law in mind.

Versus Gamers is operated by its owner, an individual based in Pointe-Claire, Quebec, who is also the person in charge of the protection of personal information. You can reach the person in charge at contact@versusgamers.com for any question, request or complaint about your personal information.
The short version
- There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or age to play.
- Your favorites, recently played games, skin and language choices, privacy choice and progress in our own games are saved only in your browser, on your device.
- Our site statistics use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
- Games from our partner Playgama show ads that may use cookies. They only load after you agree. Game cover images come from Playgama’s image server.

Games from Playgama, cookies and ads
Most games on the site are provided by Playgama (operated by LeadToChanges L.L.C-FZ, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) and run inside a frame from playgama.com. When you start one of these games, Playgama and its advertising partners can set cookies and collect information such as your device type, IP address and in-game activity to run the game, show ads (which may be based on your interests) and measure them. That processing is governed by Playgama’s privacy policy.
A Playgama game never loads until you agree, either through the banner shown on your first visit or with the “Accept and play” button on a game. If you choose “Not now”, no Playgama game or ad loads, and you can still use the rest of the site and our own games. Game cover images are still loaded from Playgama’s image server (static.playgama.com) on every visit, which, like any web server, receives your IP address and browser details. You can change your choice at any time with “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page. To remove cookies already set by Playgama, clear your browser’s cookies.
Our own games (Lexi Duel, Neon Merge and Rift Runner) show no ads and use no cookies.
Information sent outside Quebec
Our host, Cloudflare, operates servers in many countries, including the United States, Playgama, which also serves the game images, is based in the United Arab Emirates, and Google stores the emails you send us in several countries. Before relying on these providers we considered the sensitivity of the information, why it is used and the protection it receives under their policies. The information involved is limited to technical and usage data and to the emails you send us.
Children
Versus Gamers is designed for teens and adults. It is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Under Quebec law, a person under 14 cannot consent alone to the collection of their personal information, so if you are under 14, ask a parent or guardian before choosing “Allow” or “Accept and play”. Versus Gamers itself has no accounts, chats or profiles. Some Playgama games include their own online matches, nicknames, leaderboards or chat, which are run by their developers under Playgama’s policies.
Advertising on our own pages
Our own pages show no ads today. If we add ads, for example from Google AdSense, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, ask how it was used, receive it in a commonly used technological format, or ask that a link to it be de-indexed. Write to contact@versusgamers.com; we will answer within 30 days. Since we do not keep accounts or identify visitors, most of the information described above is not linked to you and cannot be retrieved by us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Changes
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
